The efficient management of digital artwork and repro provides the critical link between creative design and the production of quality printed publications.
A team of dedicated operators have the necessary skills to work to strict page layouts, or to apply creative flair to multi-page documents. A disciplined approach and attention to detail guarantee a high level of accuracy, and this is underpinned by robust quality control procedures.
We have many years experience in scanning and digital page make-up and proofing and have the capacity to produce catalogues and books in excess of 1,000 pages in length.
Scanned images are colour-corrected, and more extensive retouching and image manipulation may be undertaken as needed. Pages are checked for image quality, bleed, overprints, trapping and are finally processed to match the printers specification.
We offer the facility of a large photographic studio that uses both conventional and digital formats. Location work is also undertaken, providing additional flexibility when needed.
Years of experience in processing digital files allow us to develop a final image that is an accurate representation of the product whether it is for use in print or on the internet.
Working on the same digital files, our designers, artworkers, and repro technicians, utilise a single workflow that culminates in either computer-to-plate (CTP) output or digital printing. All digital assets (images, scans, PDFs, text, quark) can be accessed from Imagecare
our asset management solution, thereby ensuring a high degree of internal collaboration and control.
